This year I finally had the opportunity to help harvest grapes at my favorite vineyard. Höfflin produces a range of top notch wines located in the south of Germany (Bötzingen). Some years ago I came across a Grauburgunder at the Ösch Noir and I just fell in love with it. After visiting them many times its becoming more and more like a friendship. And finally! This year I was able to help them with harvesting the grapes. Arrived early in the morning and started with picking Pinot Noir grapes. Sauvignon Blanc grapes after the lunch break. Really nice experience! All pictures with my trusty Ricoh GR3.
PS: “Herbsten” is a old German word for picking grapes in autumn.
