There is is a German saying “Das beste kommt zum Schluss”. There is also an English one with nearly the same meaning: Save the best for last.
My buddy Jens is not only a top notch runner. No, he is also a top notch rider. Road riding to be exact. So he sourced this incredible route through the Black Forest. 100km (106km to be precise) with close to 2000 metres in height. For anybody not riding bicycles. We had three steep mountains. So sometimes you drive around 30 minutes or more just steep up the hill. Exhausting to say the least. 2 Hours of rain wouldn’t help. But when you get home after such a tour, its happiness.
